At KiliTracks Adventures, our mid-range safaris offer the perfect balance between comfort and affordability. You’ll explore Tanzania’s northern parks while staying in comfortable lodges or tented camps, with private rooms, ensuite bathrooms, and delicious meals after your game drives.

What to Expect

On a mid-range safari, you travel with your driver-guide in a private 4x4 safari vehicle. After a day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to a cozy lodge or tented camp where a hot shower, comfortable bed, and hearty meals await. Most accommodations feature ensuite bathrooms, electricity, and dining areas with stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.

Lodges & Camps We Use

We carefully select mid-range accommodations known for comfort, location, and service:
• Serengeti – Comfortable tented camps and lodges located inside or near the park
• Ngorongoro Crater – Lodges or tented camps near the crater rim, offering easy access for morning game drives
• Lake Manyara – Mid-range lodges or tented camps inside or just outside the park
• Tarangire – Tented camps or lodges near the park, some with views over the baobab landscape
• Ndutu & North Serengeti – Seasonal tented camps close to the wildlife action (especially during migration season)

Meals

Lodges and camps provide three freshly prepared meals daily in their dining areas. Meals often include a buffet or set menu with a variety of options. Packed lunches are provided during full-day game drives. Drinking water is supplied, while soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available at the bar (extra cost).

Facilities

Mid-range accommodations offer more comfort than camping:
