This 2-day safari takes you to two of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations: Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds, and the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five. With just two days, this tour is perfect for travelers with limited time who still want a classic Tanzanian safari experience.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arusha /Moshi to Tarangire National Park
• Pick up from your hotel in Arusha (8:30 AM) or Moshi and depart for Tarangire National Park.
• Full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park.
• Explore Tanzania’s third-largest national park, known for vast herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, baobab-dotted landscapes, and abundant wildlife including giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, and zebras.
• In the late afternoon, drive to your chosen camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour (5 Hours) – Return to Arusha
• Early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:30 AM.
• Enjoy a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor, home to the densest population of wildlife in Africa. Spot Black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, buffalo, and more.
• Picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool.
• After lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha/Moshi (approx. 4 hours).
• Drop-off at your hotel or airport by around 6:00 PM.

• Camping Safari – Public campsites with basic facilities (shared bathrooms, tents, mattresses).
• Midrange Safari – Comfortable lodges/tented camps with ensuite bathrooms, hot showers, and great service.
