This 6-day safari takes you through four of Tanzania’s best safari destinations. From the elephant herds and baobab trees of Tarangire, to the endless plains of Serengeti, the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, and the scenic beauty of Lake Manyara, this itinerary is
perfect for travelers who want to experience the best of the Northern Circuit in one trip.
• Starting Point: Arusha or Moshi (hotel/airport pickup)
• Ending Point: Arusha or Moshi (hotel/airport drop-off)
• Accommodation Options: Basic Camping, Midrange Lodges/Tented Camps, or Luxury Lodges/Tented Camps (choose based on preference)
Day 1 – Arusha / Moshi to Tarangire National Park
Pick up at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi.
Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
Famous for its baobab trees and huge herds of elephants, Tarangire also hosts lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.
Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp near Tarangire.
Day 2 – Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Game drive en route, arriving in Serengeti by afternoon.
Evening game drive before heading to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Full-day safari in Serengeti.
Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes.
Picnic lunch in the bush.
Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.
Day 4 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive in Serengeti (optional).
After breakfast, continue game drives while making your way to Ngorongoro.
Arrive at the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay overlooking the crater.
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
Spot black rhinos, elephants, lions, hippos, hyenas, buffalo, and more.
Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool.
Evening drive to Karatu or Lake Manyara area for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha / Moshi
After breakfast, enter Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
Famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and diverse birdlife.
Picnic lunch inside the park.
Afternoon drive back to Arusha/Moshi for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
