Mount Meru (4,566m), located in Arusha National Park, is Tanzania’s second-highest mountain and a spectacular trekking option. This 3-day itinerary takes climbers through lush rainforest, giant heathers, alpine desert, and along the dramatic crater rim before reaching Socialist Peak. With hut accommodations and opportunities to spot wildlife such as giraffes, buffalos, and monkeys, Mount Meru offers both adventure and comfort.
